Duffield Dental Practice is a long-established independent family practice in the heart of Duffield, Derbyshire.

We are looking for an experienced dentist to join our team, working approximately 2.5 days a week initially, with the potential for additional days as the role develops.
As an established practice planning thoughtfully for the next generation of clinicians, we are looking for someone who wants to be here for the long term.
Our practice is genuinely close-knit, with exceptionally low staff turnover - we like to keep our people to retirement, and most of them stay.
The working culture is content, collaborative, and we genuinely enjoy each other's company outside work too.
The role is almost entirely private (95%+), with a settled and loyal patient base built up over many years.

About you

At least five years post-qualification.
GDC-registered, with full indemnity in place.
Committed to high-quality, ethical, long-term dentistry.
Interested in being part of a team rather than working in isolation.
No particular clinical specialism is required - we're well covered across the disciplines and happy to share cases.
What matters more is that you enjoy the work and will fit the team.

About the practice

We have invested in the equipment and infrastructure that make modern private dentistry rewarding to practise:
CBCT and OPG imaging in-house
Operating microscope
A small in-house laboratory
We produce our own clear aligners, whitening trays, and surgical guides
We place implants, and we share endodontic and other complex cases across the team rather than concentrating them with one person.

If you have particular clinical interests, we can almost certainly support them.
